Pinhole photography

I am currently  developing an interest in photography using a camera with no lens. Fundamentally, a camera is a box with a hole in for light to enter and leave an impression against a recording medium. In this case that medium is film and the hole is literally that.

This type of photography re-dates photography and is the basis behind the camera obscura.

The camera I am using produces images with a 2:1 aspect ratio, twice as wide as high and is beautifully made by James Guerin and his website is available here.
